Culturepolis-Cultural Antenna of Preveza (CAP from now on) was founded in March 2007, by an initiative of the citizens of the area. CAP represents Culturepolis at the local scene.
Aim
It is set up to create a flexible and operational cooperation platform to be used from any cultural organisation, citizen or public authorities institution with the aim to contribute to a better knowledge and protection of the unique cultural heritage and diversity of Europe. A Cultural Antenna (C.A) or Antenna is a branch of the Culturepolis. In addition to the broader initiatives and activities of the Chapter, the Cultural Antenna of Preveza defines and implements its own action plan and cooperates with the central services of the Culturepolis. A C.A is not an autonomous organisation or association in a restricted legal definition but is empowered by the Antennas Regulation established by the EOCF-AI. Antennas constitute a network of cooperating entities in the Culturepolis framework and closely cooperate with the management and other Antennas in the organisation of cultural events, exchanges and other actions.
