CulturePolis

The organisation operates today as a non-profit civil organisation, registered in the Court of First Instance of Corfu no. 280/2006 under the denomination "Europe of Cultures Forum: Adriatic-Ionian Chapter" which will son be changed to CulturePolis. It is managed by the General Assembly of its constituing partners, while its everyday management is assigned to the elected five-member Management Board. The Board of the organisation is represented by its president who appoints a Manager/Co-ordinator, and in addition appoints a Scientific & Consultative Committee constituted by personalities that introduce their ideas and experiences and give their expert opinions on issues concerning the organisation.

Besides the partner-members, there is a provision for other member categories from friends-upporters as well as volunteers of the organisation, who may be persons regardless of sex, age, nationality, or legal entities or groups with an assigned representative, regardless of nationality, that satisfy a series of criteria. At the same time, Permanent Axctivity Groups (PAG) from members and volunteers and any interested person or body in specific programmes and actions.

The Forum promotes the creation and to a great degree the autonomous activation of local/regional Cultural Antennas in all countries and cities where there is an interest. Cultural Antennas develop their own plan of action and they co-operate with the central structureof CulturePolis (for more information on how to create a Cultural Antenna please read the By Laws on each Antena, while information on each of teh Antennas can be found on the specially designated area of the website.
